*posh* hello! i thought it would do this videoas a follow up to the 'where i buy my clothes' thing. i did want to include jewellery andshoes and things in that video, but there was no way i was gonna have enough time. itwould have been stupidly long. here we are! it's pretty straight forward, most of my jewellerycomes from the same places, 'cause like... i'm a creature of habit. if i go somewhereand have a good experience, i like what i get, i get good service... i'll keep goingback there. if it's a place that always has things i know i'll like, i'll keep going backand keep finding new things that i like and want. creature of habit! i'm the same witheverything though. wellington where i live must have so many cafã©s in it, but i onlygo to the same two cafã©s all the time. if
we go out for dinner, we end up at the sameplace. good experience, go back, why not. so! let's ah... make a start. if you watchedmy where i buy my clothes video, some of the places that i buy clothes, are also wherei buy jewellery. which makes it nice and easy for you to find things. so let's have a look...probably the place i buy most of my jewellery from, lately, is restyle.pl.they make really beautiful looking things that are inexpensive. so that's where i gotlike... this from. this is my bat skull cameo. it's cool, i love this 'cause it's also abrooch. brooches are probably my favourite kind of jewellery. i don't think it's possibleto have too many brooches. i also got this from restyle. this is oneof my favourite things, and mr owl wears it
a lot as well. once again, it is also a brooch.this is undeniably one of my favourite pieces of jewellery ever. from there also came thistombstone locket. everything's really detailed. the silver coating they put on comes off,a shame, but the price is good. i showed you this one in my... sorry i'm holding it inelegantly...i showed it in my june haul & favourites video thing. deer skull. see, i have bought a lotof stuff from restyle.pl. the other main place i buy my jewellery from is etsy.com. if you'refamiliar with etsy, you'll know there are heaps of privately owned shops, most thingsthere are handmade, a lot are unique, or there are only a few of them. they're kind of...made with love. it's often one person working very hard to make beautiful things for you.one of the most beautiful things i have, some
of the coolest stuff i have, has come fromstores on etsy. one of the stores that i love love love, is the crypt of curiosities. that'swhere i got this from. as you can see, i'm very good at losing chains. really a a nuisance, don't lose chains. i lose them all the time. this opens up, it's a locket, i still haven'tdecided what to put inside, what do you think i should put inside? that's also where i gotthis, which i have been wearing heaps lately because it's so awesome. look at its awesomeness.i'll be putting links to all these stores in the description box below, so open that,go nuts, have a browse, have a wee look, have a dandy little gander. one of the other etsystores i've bought from a few times, is a shop called horribell. i mean, there are heapsof stores on there, i just pppffff. if i could
afford it, i would go nuts and would havesuch a ridiculous collection of jewellery. but i can't, so i've got to rein myself in!anywhere, here's some stuff from horribell. this one's amazing, it's so awesome. i boughtthis for mr owl for the reason... well, it's an owl skull. i've shown you this in anothervideo i know, but i really love it. you're probably noticing a theme here, i really likevictorian style jewellery, i love cameos, old fashioned things, filigree, silver...i also like stuff that's angry looking, like studs and leather and chains and that. whati personally like to do, is combine those two things together. i feel like that summarisesmy style in general. the combination of... those two things. horribell also sold me theseadorable siamese twin skeletons. this sadly
has makeup on it, it's hard not to get makeupon all my jewellery. this is a pair of earrings. the red was more vibrant.these are incredible.i don't own many pairs of earrings 'cause i have so much hair around here, that youcan't even see them. if i do buy earrings, often i'll wear one, or a lot on one ear.big and obvious. this ankh earring here, a great big one, i found this in a shop in town.if you poke around the stores in your area, you can find things that are totally relevantto your style. oo! this is a little skull bracelet. it belongs to mr owl, but i borrowedit for demonstrative purposes. little black and silver skulls. it came from a shop intown, on the main street, a teenage girl mainstream fashion shop. somewhere else i like to shoponline, is the kreepsville website. kreepsville
666. it's the kind of jewellery i have tobe in the right mood for, if that makes sense, i'm not hugely into chunky plasticky stuff, but i have a few things from there, these are my favourites.... i really really love....i love the entire set of breaking teeth from kreepsville. they look quite real. they areamazing. i also have a ring from this set but i have no idea where it is, ah! they arealso the people responsible for creating these skeleton hand hair clips you see everywhere.a lot of others have knocked these off, but kreepsville makes the original and the best.one of the pieces of jewellery people most often ask where i found it, is this bat necklace.i said in my clothing video, i buy a lot of stuff from dysfunctional doll and reflectingrain on ebay. both of them sell, or have sold
at some point, this kind of bat necklace.it comes in black or silver. pretty cool! if you were wondering, now you know. now youknow. now we know. now we know. i said i like brooches... i have a couple of brooches ican show you. this one i am saving to pin on my wedding dress when the time comes. it'sglorious, beautiful, perfect. i love every single bit of it. it came from a store calledhouse of hirudinea. i hope i'm pronouncing that correctly. i've had this one for a longtime. mr owl doesn't like it 'cause it's brass and not silver. whatever, it's cute, it'san octopus. that came from a seller called pickykitten, who unfortunately is gone now.makes me sad. somewhere else i buy jewellery, like this chain here... it used to have abig cross on the end, but it came off. that's
probably 'cause it cost $2. i buy a lot ofstuff on ebay! right? every time i want to find something, first i search there. it'spossible to buy quite cheap, cool alternative style jewellery on ebay. the thing is you'repaying for the fact that's it's not very good quality, but it'll do for now, right. a lotof it is $2, $3, $5. free shipping. some things are more, $10 or whatever. ear cuffs, chains, bracelets, rings. i got this necklace, a good example of something i got cheaply on ebay.big pile os skulls! everybody's pretty much heard of alchemy gothic. they've been arounda bajillion years. they make some of the best and most beautiful alternative jewellery thatthere is. it's pewter, extremely good quality, it will last forever more or less. most ofthe things i have form alchemy are rings.
if you want to buy something from alchemy,go to the alchemy website, they have a big list of all their stockists around the world.extremely useful. you can see if there's anybody who sells it her you, or in your country.most of my rings seem to have temporarily done a runner. here's some of the rings ihave from alchemy. i swear i had more. i've got no idea where they've gone. uh oh. lastly, boots! this i can sum up very quickly because all my boots i have bought from the same place.again, ebay, i've bought all my interesting boots, in recent years, from a seller calledgreat hot stuff. i always buy from this person 'cause they seem to have the best prices onebay, and also 'cause they're very reliable, they're fast, and their shipping is reasonable.for me, shipping cost is important, because
being in new zealand, it can cost quite alot to get stuff here. so great hot stuff. the only other time i've bought interestingshoes or boots, has been overseas. in london i bought a couple of pairs in camden town.well, i really hope you've found this useful! i hope you'll have a nice time browsing theinternet for... pretty bling. again, like i said with clothes, it's a matter of seeingthe potential in things. i think it's important to accessories properly. just use your imagination.if you see something that catches your eye, you can get... even from $2 shops sometimes...like i found a giant pair of dangly cross earrings in a $2 shop. it's fine. use yourimagination. see something, see the potential in it. so once again, hope you've found thishelpful! thank you very much for watching,
if you haven't done so already, please subscribeto my channel, i put out two new videos every week, take care of yourself, be nice to eachother, and i'll see you next time, byyyyeee!
