in this segment we will talk about a letteror an appraisal that is issued by an individual that is not necessarily in one of the higherechelons of appraising stones. this can be on a local level because there are many manypeople qualified to appraise stones and give written appraisals such as this one and thosecharacteristics are mimicked as to the ones that are issued by the gemological institutesof he world. they should include all the pertinent data that a formal what we call formal certificatewould be. in this case we list all of the dimensions of a diamond to properly identifyit as to its physical characteristics and identify it as to its measurements. it iscalled to us a fingerprint of the stone. there are no two diamonds alike in the world.
